Why Christians Shouldn’t Celebrate Halloween

Christianity has been watered down to being kind to your friends and neighbors. These are excellent qualities to have, but did the All-Mighty God send a messenger born miraculously with evidences and signs, simply to tell the people to be kind to their friends and neighbors?

According to them did Jesus not speak regarding, worshipping God? How to pray, how often to pray, what to say in the prayers? As Christians explain it, it’s as though his only purpose was to come and be slaughtered so they could be forgiven their sins.

2000 years later and Christians fornicate, commit adultery, drink alcohol, eat pork, barely pray at all, join wars massacring millions of people, doing drugs, barely dressed at all, involved in interest/usury and the list goes on. Just living truly evil lives, and they see no problem with it.

On many streets there are a bunch of mostly empty churches, sometimes back to back, and you have to wonder why? If they’re all following the teachings of Jesus, and the bible, then why are there so many divisions? To the point that they can’t even go to the same Church.

And what these Churches teach are often times vastly different things. One priest said, God doesn’t know the future, he only knows as things happen. Yet in their own Bible it says that God knows everything. And if you asked the common Christian they would agree. Yet the Priest, the supposedly most knowledgeable of her Church, goes against her own scripture.

And all these Churches celebrate Christmas, knowing full well that Jesus wasn’t born in the winter. And that the disciples didn’t celebrate his birthday. And what of Santa and the reindeer? And of all the days to choose they chose the day of a pagan god Saturnalia.

Saturnalia, held in mid-December, is an ancient Roman pagan festival honoring the agricultural god Saturn. Because of when the holiday occurred—near the winter solstice—Saturnalia celebrations are the source of many of the traditions we now associate with Christmas, such as wreaths, candles, feasting and gift-giving.

And now we get to Halloween. A day of celebration for witches and warlocks. Halloween is based on the pagan celebration of Samhain which was celebrated at the same time, October 31st, to welcome in the harvest and usher in “the dark half of the year.” Celebrants believe that the barriers between the physical world and the spirit world break down during Samhain, allowing more interaction between humans and denizens of the Otherworld.

As Christianity gained a foothold in pagan communities, church leaders attempted to reframe Samhain as a Christian celebration…
Neither new holiday did away with the pagan aspects of the celebration. October 31 became known as All Hallows Eve, or Halloween, and contained much of the traditional pagan practices before being adopted in 19th-century America through Irish immigrants bringing their traditions across the ocean.

Christianity has been usurped by paganism long ago. The bible is the words of men and not of God. The religion has been watered down and joined with the culture of its time. Today we can see Christianity change in real time when it comes to the issues of L G B T Q. It’s really a sad state of affairs.

One has to ask themselves, does morality change? If something is evil and forbidden can it then become something praiseworthy?

For those Christians who want the truth from their Lord. Who want a belief system, that has remained unchanged for 1400 years, I invite you all to learn and accept Islam as your way of life. Below are some resources to help get you started.
