بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Assalaamu Alaykum. In today’s article we will focus on learning the Angels’ relationship with the disbelievers and sinners.
They Curse the Disbelievers
Angels are perfect servants of Allah. They hate what Allah hates, and love what Allah loves. So just like Allah curses those who disbelieve, the angels do so too. Allah SWT says:
Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers – upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together.
They Punish the Disbelievers
The angels bring down the punishments of Allah on the disbelievers. Like the people of Lut AS, and the people of A’d and Thamud.
They Manage the Universe
Allah SWT can do everything Himself and has no need of angles, jinn, or man. Allah needs nothing, but everything needs Allah. And Allah does what He wills, and so Allah has willed to make a creation (angels) that follow His commands completely. Using these angels Allah commands the rain to fall, or clouds to move, or an earthquake to occur. Allah says in the Quran:
فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًاQuran (79:5)
And those (angels) who arrange all matters (according to Allah’s orders).
Allah also says:
فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًاQuran (51:4)
And those (angels) who distribute all things (according to Allah’s orders).
They Stay Away From Sinners
The angels do not stay with people who constantly sin. This is why we must try our best to be good people who are constantly thinking of Allah and working to do good deeds. Otherwise the angels will not be with us to help us, and pray for us, but instead we will have evil jinn beside us. The Prophet PBUH said:
“There are three individuals whom the angels do not approach: a junub (someone who’s very impure and needs a ghusl (bath)), a drunk person, and a man who wears khalooq (women’s perfume containing saffron).”Recorded by al-Bazzaar and al-Bukhaaree. Verified as authentic by al-Albaanee
