بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم والصلاة والسلام على رسول الأمين نبينا محمد و على آله وصحابته أجمعين
Being grateful is one of the things that separate believers from disbelievers.
A disbeliever is not grateful for anything. For many it’s the reason they are disbelievers to begin with. For some they believe there’s no God because how could a loving God kill their family member who did no harm (in their opinion).
As Muslims we are grateful for everything Allah gives us!
When good things happen we say, “Alhamdullah!” When bad things happen we say, “Alhamdullah!” Regardless if it’s good or bad the good definitely outweighs the bad. No matter what it is. Sometimes it’s clear to us what the good is, but sometimes it isn’t. Just the same we know that the good outweighs the bad.
The best example is the example of Satan himself.
People would think he’s pure evil. But the reality is that Allah shows the difference between Adam AS and Satan by creating him. They both sinned against Allah, but only one of them repented to Allah SWT. And if Allah never created Satan then who would have tricked Adam AS to eat from the tree and be kicked out of Paradise.
It’s because Allah created Satan that man could be tried on Earth and reach levels greater than the Angels.
